Well IRISH FAN's just like Bobby Darin's big hit, MACK THE KNIFE thewebguy is back in town......

IRON BUTTERFLY is re-releasing it's 1968 hit, IN-A-GADDA-DA-COACH BISUTTI! Yes, it is the long version as Coach Bisutti unveils his 2006-2007 IRISH basketball team! The IRISH will be lead by 5 seniors and 2 juniors, all who are returning letterman: Michael Eubank, Kevin Lolli; Spenser Mooney; Austin O'Connell; Kelly Winter, Ben Ashwill and Blair Gorniak.

These players will be much like the group RARE EARTH, and their big hit GET READY. Coach Bisutti has many "gassers," weight lifting sessions, offensive and defensive sets as well as scrimmages to get the team "READY" for the opening game on December 2, 2006 against the Bulldogs from Athens High School.

Coach Bisutti brings the IRISH into a new basketball season and into a new OHIO CAPITAL CONFERENCE Division. The IRISH will be in the CAPITAL Division. There will be new teams on the schedule this year but the goal is the same and that is to win the OCC Capital Division crown!

Big Walnut, Franklin Heights, New Albany, Olentangy Liberty and Watkins Memorial make up the teams that the IRISH will face in the OCC-Capital Division.

League games will have a different touch this year as the OCC Capital Division schedules the "Freshman" games at 4:30 PM on the same day as the JV and Varsity games. Thewebguy finds this a good way to keep in touch with the younger IRISH as he did not get to see any freshman games last year.

Thewebguy plans to participate in the entire season and hopes you the IRISH fans come and root the team onto victory during the 2006-07 campaign.
