SCIOTO SWARMS PATRIOTS 75-46, NOW 14-0

Dublin Scioto exploded in the first quarter jumping out to a 29-8 lead after the 1st period, increasing the lead to 41-15 at
halftime, and then cruised to a 75-46 victory over Parkersburg South (now 6-5) out of West Virginia. The Irish offense was
sharp in the first half with outstanding passing leading to a number of easy layops and open looks from the outside. First
half scoring was led by Bradley McDougald and Ben Ashwill with 9 points each, and Marco St John with 8 and Blair Gorniak with 6.
The Irish big men dominated the 3d quarter, with Blair Gorniak scoring 9 in the quarter, and Marco St John adding 7. A total of 10 different
players hit the scoring column on the night, led by Marco St John and Blair Gorniak with 15 each, and Bradley McDougald and Ben Ashwill with
12 and 11 respectively. Other scorers included Rainer Duzan with 6, Eric Stamets with 5, Dylan Coscia with 4, David McKinley with 3 and
DJ Olatoye with 2
The Irish are back in action on Tuesday night at home against Big Walnut (10-3) in a battle for first place.
