Quick start proves decisive in 57-48 JV win.
Scioto jumped out to a 19-4 lead after one quarter and managed a double digit until the fourth quarter on their way to
a 57-48 win in the JV game.
Trailing 43-32 after three quarters, Westerville North began to pressure the Irish and cut the lead to 53-46 in the
final minute. A transition bucket by J.R. Bernans followed by a steal and layup by the sophomore extended the lead to
57-46.
Unofficially,20Raneal Ewing led the way with 22 points, including four treys. Other Irish players in the scoring
column were Max Brundige (9), Bernans (8), Jacob McPheters (8), Tervon Moore (8) and Terrill Matthews (2).
