SCIOTO JVS EXTEND WINNING STREAK TO 3

The Dublin Scioto JV put forth a solid effort in winning over Franklin Hts by the final score of 50-46. Scioto jumped out to a 9-5 first quarter lead with Jacob McPheters and Eric Stamets each scoring 4 points. Franklin Hts battled back in the 2d quarter to tie the game 19-19 at halftime. Second quarter scoring was led by Jacob McPheters and Jamare Mills with 4 points each. Jacob McPheters also put forth a strong rebounding effort.

The 3d quarter remained tight throughout with Scioto clinging to a 30-28 lead after the 3d quarter. Max Brundige led the Irish with 4 third quarter points. Scioto went on a nice run to start the 4th quarter, then held on for the 50-46 victory. Eric Stamets led the way in the 4th quarter with 7 points, while Destin Thomas added 6.

For the night, Eric Stamets contributed 14 points and Jacob McPheters added 10. Other scorers were Destin Thomas with 8, Jamare Mills with 7, Max Brundige 4, JR Bernans 3, and Rahim Wasim and Raneal Ewing with 2 each.
