JVS FALL TO OLENTANGY LIBERTY

The JVs fell in a back and forth battle with Olentangy Liberty by the score of 47-37. After falling behind 11-5 at the end of the 1st quarter, the Irish had a strong 2d quarter to take a 23-19 halftime lead. First half scoring was led by Jamare Mills with 10 and Eric Stamets with 6.

The Irish maintained the lead after the 3d quarter by a 33-28 count. The 4th quarter was the downfall for the Irish, as Olentangy could not miss and the Irish struggled to score. Olentangy won the 4th quarter 19-4.

Eric Stamets led the scoring for the Irish with 16, followed by Jamare Mills with 12. Other scorers were Raneal Ewing with 4, Destin Thomas and Max Brundige with 2 each, and Jacob McPheters with 1.
