JVS FALL 32-27 TO NEW ALBANY, END SEASON AT 9-11
The JV lost another hard fought game at New Albany by the score of 32-27. It was a close game throughout with New Albany holding the lead after the 1st
quarter 11-8, and then at halftime 17-16.
The Irish managed only 2 third quarter points, but were still in the game trailing 23-18 after 3 quarters. The 4th quarter was even at 9 points each,
as New Albany pulled out the 32-27 victory. Eric Stamets was high scorer with 8 points followed by JR Bernans with 7. Other scorers included Ranewal Ewing
with 5, Max Brundige with 3, and Jacob McPheters and Destin Thomas with 2 each.
The Irish ended the season with a final record of 9-11, and a league record of 6-4. After a tough 2-8 start, the Irish put together a string of 6 consecutive
victories including avenging an early season losse to Watkins Memorial.
