JVS FALL TO BROOKHAVEN

The JV fell to Brookhaven by the score of 49-32. The Irish battled the Bearcats even in the first quarter, 11-11, as Eric Stamets scored 8 first quarter points. The Irish kept it close after 2 quarters finding themselves behind 21-16. After the 3d quarter, the Irish were still in the game trailing by only 7 at 31-24.

The 4th quarter belonged to the Bearcats as they won the quarter 18-8. The Irish were led in scoring by Raneal Ewing with 9 points on three 3 pointers. Eric Stamets added 8, JR Bernans 7, and Jacob McPheters, Destin Thomas, Rahim Wasim and Dom Rosso 2 each.

The JVs are now 9-10 on the year and will be playing their final game this Friday night at New Albany.
