JVS DEFEAT CELTICS 52-35 FOR SECOND VICTORY

The Irish JV also put forth a strong effort and defeated Dublin Jerome 52-35. The Irish jumped out to a 29-19 halftime lead, and continued playing strong in the 2d half in pulling away for the victory.

Eric Stamets played a strong first half scoring 13 points and contributing a number of steals. Jamare Mills added 8 first half points, while Destin Thomas and Jacob McPheters each found the range from long distance contributing a 3 pointer, while Raneal Ewing added 2.

JR Bernans led the charge in the 2d half, finding the hot shooting hand and contributing 8 fourth quarter points.

Scioto was led in scoring by Eric Stamets with 15 points and Jamare Mills with 12. JR Bernans added 7 points and Raneal Ewing 6. Rounding out the scoring was Destin Thomas and Jacob McPheters with 4 points each, and Max Brundige with 3.
