JVS WIN THE 7TH TIME IN LAST 8 GAMES

The JV continued their hot streak winning for the 7th time in their last 8 games, to move to 9-9 on the year and 6-3 in the conference.

The Irish led from start to finish, setting the tone with oustanding first quarter defense that led to a 14-2 lead after the first quarter. The Irish pushed the lead to 23-11 at halftime. Eric Stamets led 1st half scorers with 10 and Jamere Mills added 7.

The second half turned into an offensive show as the Irish outscored the Eagles 39-35 in the half. Jacob McPheters led the Irish in the 2d half with 13 points, including clutch free throw shooting hitting 10 straight and 10 ouf of 12 for the half. Eric Stamets add 12 second half point, and JR Bernans added 6.

For the night Eric Stamets led the Irish with 22 points and Jacob McPheters added 15. Other scorers where JR Bernans with 9, Jamare Mills with 7, Max Brundige with 3 and Destin Thomas, Raneal Ewing and Dominic Rosso with 2 each.
