IRISH CRUISE PAST INDEPENDENCE - NOW 6-0!!!

The Irish jumped out to an early lead and never looked back while improving to 6-0 with a convincing 80-40 win over Columbus Independence (4-5) in an uptempo game. The Irish won every quarter by at least 7 points.

The Irish effort this game included contributions from a number of players. Blair Gorniak led five scorers in double figures with 16 points and added 11 boards. Marco St. John chipped in with 13 points and 7 boards. Rainer Duzan found the 3 point range hitting 4 consecutive 3 pointers and finishing with 12 points. Ben Ashwill added 12 points and a number of no look assists to the big guys under the basket. Bradley McDouglad added 10 points, Eric Stamets contibuted 6, Jamare Mills and Dylan Coscia 4 each, and Kyle Duncan knocked down a 3 pointer to finish with 3.

The next game is Thursday Dec 27th at Dublin Jerome, followed by a home game on Saturday Dec 29th against Dublin Coffman.
