CONGRATULATIONS TO IRISH COLLEGE FOOTBALL SIGNEES
Four Irish basketball players signed national letters of intent to play Division I football at signing ceremonies held in
the school gymnasium before school on Wednesday, February 4. They were joined by their varsity teammates, coaches,
students, family members and school staff.
Rainer Duzan signed with Morehead State, a Football Championship Subdivision team that plays in the Pioneer Conference.
Some other members of this league include San Diego, Davidson, Dayton and Butler. The university is located in Morehead,
Kentucky. He will join the Eagles as a kicker/punter.
Tyler Harrell, a first year basketball player at Scioto, signed with the University of Iowa and will join the Big Ten
school as a defensive lineman.
Bradley McDougald and Deji Olatoye signed with rival Big 12 schools. McDougald will play slot receiver for the wide open
Kansas Jayhawks. He joins Scioto alum Josh Richardson in Lawrence.
Olatoye may have a chance to cover McDougald as he signed as a cornerback with the University of Colorado in Boulder.
In addition to the basketball players, student section leader Jason Tiemeier signed with FCS Princeton University. An
outstanding student, he will join the Ivy League team as a long snapper and offensive lineman.
