FROSH CLOSE STRONG TO BEAT MARYSVILLE
The Irish freshman team dominated the second half and ran away from Marysville with a 50-28 win on Friday.
They entered the locker room at the half in a dogfight and only led 19-17. They played solid defense in the second half
and finished the game by putting up 21 fourth quarter points.
Three players scored in double figures. Jeremie Nsumbu and Patrick Rooney had 11 points each, and, Ryan Duncan added 10.
Other Irish players in the scoring column included: Tyler Flaherty (6), Jamyl Copeland (5), Kevin McMahon (5) and Matt
Strausbaugh (2).
The freshman team ended the season at 13-4 overall and 11-3 in OCC Cardinal Division games.
