CHAMPIONSHIP YIELDS OCC HONORS FOR IRISH
Scioto’s outright league championship led to several honors in the OCC Cardinal Division.
Tony Bisutti earned his third consecutive Coach of the Year award thanks to a perfect 14-0 league slate. The Irish have
won 35 consecutive OCC games and have finished each of the last three seasons with an unblemished league slate.
Senior guard Bradley McDougald was named to the OCC first team for the second consecutive year and received Player of the
Year honors for the Cardinal Division. He is joined on the first team by senior guard David McKinley.
Other members of the first team include: Ralph Hill Jr. (Westerville North/JR), Jerrell Fernandez (Westerville Central/SR),
Traevon Jackson (Westerville South/SO), Max Van Meter (Westerville Central/JR) and Jason Davis (Westerville South/SR).
Senior wing Rainer Duzan and senior post Marco St. John were named to the OCC second team. Senior post Deji
Olatoye was named honorable mention.
In addition, McKinley was named Scioto’s basketball scholar-athlete.
Other Dublin players earned OCC honors, including:
Coffman (Central Division): Michael Green/JR and Conner Viers/JR, 1st team; Christian Heine/SO and Kyle Molock/FR, 2nd team;
Zach Bott/SR, honorable mention; and, Drew Karabinos/SR, scholar-athlete.
Jerome (Cardinal Division): Steven Harrell/SR, 2nd team; Cam Wilson/FR, honorable mention; and Neil Johnson/SR,
scholar-athlete.
