IRISH DEFEAT ST CHARLES AS COACH BISUTTI NOTCHES 300TH CAREER WIN
Dublin Scioto came out focused and jumped to leads of 20-2 after the first quarter, and 37-8 at halftime enroute to a 65-34 win over St Charles.
The game marked the 300th Career Win for Coach Bisutti including #202 at Dublin Scioto.
The first quarter charge was led by Kyle Duncan who scored 10 points, including two 3-pointers. Marco St. John and Ben Ashwill added 4 each, while
Bradley McDougald contributed 2 first quarter points. In a night of balanced scoring, 8 players reached the scoring column in the first half. At haltime,
Kyle Duncan was the leading scorer with 10, followed by Marco St John with 8, Blair Gorniak, Ben Ashwill and Bradley McDougald with 4 each, Rainer Duzan 3 on
a three-pointer, and 2 each for David McKinley and Dylan Coscia.
The 2d half provided lots of rest for the starters, as Scioto pushed the lead out to 39 before finishing with the 31 point victory. For the night, Kyle Duncan
was leading scorer with 14, followed by Marco St John with 10. Other scorers were Blair Gorniak with 9, Bradley McDougald 8, Ben Ashwill 7, Rainer Duzan 5, and
4 each for David McKinley, Dylan Coscia and Jamare Mills.
Scioto also won the rebounding battle 34-23 with Blair Gorniak gathering 9 boards and Marco St John 6.
The Irish are back in action on Friday, Jan 11 at home against New Albany.
