BISHOP WATTERSON UPENDS IRISH JVS 54-39

The Irish JVs fell to Bishop Watterson by a final count of 54-39. Bishop Watterson jumped out to leads of 13-7 at the end of the 1st quarter and 28-18 at halftime. Eric Stamets led the way in the first half with 7 points, and Destin Thomas nailed two 3-pointers for 6 first half points. Jamare Mills had a number of strong moves in the 2d half finishing with 14 2d half points. JR Bernans added 5 points in the half.

For the night Jamare Mills finished with 16 points, while Eric Stamets added 7. Destin Thomas and JR Bernans chipped in with 6 each, while Jacob McPheters and Raneal Ewing added 2 each.
