TEXAS A & M may have their 12th Man. Dublin Coffman High School may have their "Coffman Crazies." However, neither of these schools and their fans, nor fans anywhere else compare to the DUBLIN SCIOTO HIGH SCHOOL - 'ZUTTI ZONE'!
These seniors, pictured above, led the student body at every home game and at times followed the IRISH to key games throughout the basketball season.
Yes, the coaches need to coach the game and the players need to execute the game plan, make the shots and stop the opposing team with a stingy defense.
High school sports being a roller coaster wave of emotions, these young men inspired the crowd and the players to their final regular season record of 18 wins against a single loss.
Brad Lefler, Greg Schneider, Brian Bush, Michael Woytek, Dustin Smith and the man----Jon Torski--the 'ZUTTI ZONE leaders. The entire IRISH family counted on these young men to lead the student body in support of THE IRISH!
This basketball season became a special time for the players as the wins kept coming one after one. These student leaders became a cog in a big wheel of victories. The comraderie between the students and the parents at each game was outstanding.
These students became a big part of the team as the parents looked for them to bring other students to the game and to bring the house down both at home games and at the away games too!
The parents mentioned that out of the 19 games played, these students missed only a few of the games due to distance being traveled.
To Brad, Greg, Brian, Michael, Dustin and Jon, the parents of the 2007 Senior Basketball Players thank you for your support throughout our basketball season! You made the season fun and enjoyable!
To the entire student body of Dublin High School, we thank you for your support and promise to come back and root the IRISH on to victory in 2007-08!
You are partly responsible for helping the IRISH become OCC CAPITAL DIVISION CHAMPIONS!!!
