Tony Bisutti - Varsity Head Coach

Coach Bisutti is currently in his 18th year of service as an employee in The Dublin City School District and has 28 years of teaching and coaching experience overall. He is beginning his 26th year as a varsity head coach and has amassed over 350 career wins. Originally from Columbus, Tony is a 1979 graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School. As a high school athlete, he competed and earned honors in both basketball and baseball. He was a member of DeSales? 1979 Class AA State Championship Baseball Team. Coach Bisutti went on to graduate from Bethany College (WV) in 1983, earning a BA degree in Economics. While at Bethany, he was a four-year letter winner and all conference outfielder in baseball for the Bisons. He played two years of basketball and served the program for two years as a student assistant. In 1991, Coach Bisutti earned his Master Degree in Education from Xavier University.
Beginning his coaching career at DeSales, Coach Bisutti served as an assistant for three years and was part of a staff that led the Stallions to the 1987 Class AA State Championship. After taking over the head coaching reigns, Tony compiled an 83-49 record over 6 years. He finished his tenure at DeSales by being named AP State Coach of the Year in Division II for the 1992-93 season. In addition to his basketball duties, Tony was an assistant baseball coach for 9 seasons.
After coaching two years at New Philadelphia High School, Coach Bisutti made the move to Dublin, getting the opportunity to build the Irish basketball program. His Scioto teams have posted over 250 wins in his tenure, highlighted by 6 OCC championships, 11 sectional championships, 3 central district runner ups, 2 central district championships and 1 elite eight finish. He was named AP State Coach of the Year in Division I for the 2008-09 season.
Coach Bisutti is certified in business and record keeping and teaches in the Business Department at DSHS. He also currently serves on the
District 10 Coaches Association Board as the representative to the Ohio High School Basketball Çoaches Association. Coach Bisutti has three children, Stephanie (24), Christina (22) and Antonio (18), who is a senior in the Irish Basketball Program.

Mike Moler - Assistant Varsity Coach

Coach Moler is currently in his 7th season as a member of the Scioto coaching staff. He is a graduate of Bishop Ready High School and a graduate of Muskingum College with a BA degree in Early Childhood Development and a minor in Psychology. As an athlete, Mike was a standout performer in high school as he earned all-state honors in soccer, football and basketball. At Muskingum, he was a four-year letterman and three-time All OAC performer. Mike left Muskingum as the program?s 7th all-time leading scorer in school history (1368 pts). He secured team MVP honors as a sophomore and senior and finished 2nd in the nation in free throw percentage his senior season (91%).
Coach Moler started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Kenyon College in the 2003-04 season. Before joining the Scioto staff, he served as head jv and assistant varsity coach at Bishop Ready for two years. Coach Moler currently teaches at Riverside Elementary School in Dublin. He and his wife Emily are parents to son Drew (2) and newborn daughter Reese.

Don (DJ) Estis - Head JV Coach

Coach Estis begins his 2nd season as a member of the Scioto coaching staff. Don graduated from Columbus St. Francis DeSales High School in 1994, where he was a two year starter for the Stallions and a member of Coach Bisutti?s 1993 District Runner Up team. Coach Estis began his collegiate playing career at Columbus State Community College and finished his career at Shawnee State University. He was a member of a Bears? team which finished with a 22-10 record his senior season, achieving the first national ranking (16th) in school history.
In addition to coaching on the AAU circuit, Don has eight years of assistant coaching experience, including stops at Shawnee State, DeSales and Harvest Prep. He and his wife Heather reside in Blacklick with their son Dane (4).

Ken Kniss - Strength and Conditioning Coach

Coach Kniss is entering his 2nd season as a member of the Scioto coaching staff. After serving as a volunteer member of the basketball staff last year, Ken now takes over the strength & conditioning position at Scioto. He is a graduate of Westland High School where he played 4 years of football and basketball. Ken then continued his education and football career at Heidelberg College and graduated with a degree in Psychology. Coach Kniss is a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach at Life Time Fitness. Ken resides in Dublin with his wife Kelly.

Karl Johnson - Head Freshman Coach

Coach Johnson has been coaching in Dublin since 1987 and has been the head football coach at Dublin Scioto since 2000. Prior to becoming the head football coach, Karl enjoyed 13 years as an assistant football coach in the Dublin City Schools.
Although known as an outstanding football coach and educator, KJ is no stranger to the sport of basketball as he enters his 1st season in the Scioto boys program. He previously coached basketball at the original Dublin High School for Charlie Speer, 7th grade basketball at Sells Middle School, and at Scioto for Todd Hardesty?s girls? program. Coach Johnson has also coached basketball at the youth level for many years.
Karl is in his 23rd year of teaching in Dublin. Currently he works with students on credit recovery and Scioto's online learning programs. He and his wife Beth live in Dublin with their three children; Brian, Kelly, and Erin. Beth is beginning her 24th year as a first grade teacher at Worthington Hills Elementary in Worthington, Ohio.
